**TRIGGER WARNING**This used to be a group for Kundalini Yoga and I used to be a teacher of Kundalini Yoga but it has been discovered that the founder of this practice, Yogi Bhajan, was a rapist, child abusing cult leader who made up the majority of the practices to control and manipulate his followers. Though some teachers (including myself until recently) may claim that “it works,” it is really just a method to get spiritually high without doing the real work of introspection and healing. I will never again teach this form of yoga, which is so deeply connected to abuse and criminality and I’m disgusted that I ever got sucked into it. I hope to be teaching by-donation classes again in the future but I’m still in the midst of dealing with the trauma that this new information has caused me and countless others.
