National Nanny Training Day is held to recognize the needs of young children and to raise awareness of the positive correlation between nanny training and quality care. This national initiative is part of Week of the Young Child, an annual celebration sponsored by the National Association for the Education of Young Children.

NNTD Philadelphia will offer three learn today, use tomorrow workshops, continental breakfast, lunch, networking opportunities, and fun! All nannies and childcare providers are welcome!

Schedule

9:30-10am: Check-In, Continental Breakfast & Networking Session

10-11:15am: Session 1- Activities For School Aged Kids- Stephanie Hage: Fun activities to prepare for summer vacation!

11:15-11:30: Snack Break/Networking Session

11:30am-12:30pm: Session 2- Investing In Yourself- Abbey Guarnera & Kishta Allen: A look at educational opportunities for nannies to enhance your career!

12:30-1:30pm: Networking Luncheon

1:30-2:45: Session 3- NICU Nurse - Gillian Kurtz: Ways to support new parents & babies for life after birth!

2:45-3pm: Closing Remarks
