Are you interested in learning more about Stoicism and philosophy? Join Philadelphia Stoa for an exploration and discussion of the works of Epictetus. In this session, we will be covering the first book of Epictetus’ discourses.

For our referencence text, the group is using:
Epictetus - The Complete Works, edited and translated by Robin Waterfield. It is a highly acclaimed and accessible text. In peperation for the meeting, group meabers are asked to read pgs. 71-138, and are encouraged to select any passages of particular interest which they might wish to explore and discuss further.
