We are a group of WOMEN in the Philadelphia area who gather for outdoor recreation. All experience levels are welcome! Possible activities include: hiking, picnics, kayaking/canoeing, biking, rock climbing, horseback riding, tubing, running, swimming, camping, ice skating, skiing, snowshoeing, etc. I started this group in order to connect with other women who like being outdoors, where we can have adventures and try new things.
Have you ever been outside with a co-ed group and the men ran the show? Well, the women run this show. We've got newbies, dabblers, amateurs, practically-professionals, pros, and experts. We all have something to learn and something to teach.
This group is open to all adults who identify as female, and is meant to be a safe space for all women who participate. We will not tolerate discrimination against or harassment of participants. All adult women are welcome, regardless of age, race/ethnicity, ability status, orientation, cis/trans, education, religion, country of origin, or income level.
