River to River Holiday Walk

After meeting in Amtrak's beautiful and award-winning 30th Street Station, we will take in sights both seasonal and historic (flexible depending on group consensus), stopping by the Christmas Village by City Hall (optional ice skating), and ending our walk at Penn's Landing.

Currently, the main concourse is somewhat obstructed by scaffolding, due to the ceiling being worked on. Accordingly, rather than meet "under the Angel", we will meet in the smaller long-distance waiting room just to the north of the main concourse, where the Christmas tree is set up in front of the "Spirit of Transportation" wall sculpture.

This is a public transit-friendly walk, paralleling SEPTA's Market Frankford EL/Blue Line subway.
