Haverford Festival to Grange Estate
Details
We will meet at the back of the audience area facing the main stage at the Haverford Heritage Festival
on Karakung Drive, just downhill from Nitre Hall. (In past years, this has been across Karakung Drive from the Historical Society table, with folks from the Darby Creek Valley Association and the Haverford Trails Co-alition in attendance as well.)
We recommend taking the Norristown High Speed Line from SEPTA's 69th Street Terminal, 12:05pm departure, getting off at the 3rd station, Manoa Road/Penfield (you will need to signal your stop). At least one of us will endeavor to come in on this schedule; you are of course welcome to come earlier to enjoy the Festival.
We will walk to The Grange Estate, which will take us about half an hour to 45 minutes of walking.
After our walk we can use the Norristown High-Speed Line to return to the festival, or you can choose to return home (for example by riding the High-Speed line to 69th Street Terminal for SEPTA connections to 30th Street Station and other parts of the system.)
We look forward to sharing this event with you!
