Module Lifecycle: How to Test and Deploy Your Python Web App

This technical workshop will follow the path a developer takes when working on a Python Module: unit testing of the change to the code; building the deployed version of the module; running integration tests using the deployed version against different OSs. Unit tests would be run against multiple Python versions also as integration tests. Attendees will walk away with a better understanding of how to test and deploy Python web apps.

About the Speaker

Bear is currently Manager of the Site Reliability Team at CircleCI. He has more than 20 yrs experience in Build/Release automation for Linux, Windows and OS X systems. He has also been keeping Internet scale services healthy for more than 10yrs and has helped many teams solve problems as an Operations Consultant.
