Building a Simple Recommendation System Using Python

Jason Rodriguez will share his experience exploring the world of Magic: The Gathering Online partially through transaction data provided by his friends at Cardhoarders.com. Through this project, he learned a bit about the MTGO community, the game economy, and building simple recommendation systems in Python.

Jason has been in Philly for 10+ years where he has worked as a neuroscientist, Python developer, statistician, and data scientist. Currently, Jason is a Data Analytics Manager at Willis Towers Watson, a consulting firm that provides management, actuarial, and human resources consulting to major companies around the world.
