About us
Welcome to Philosophy for Everyday Life, a community for those who want to bring wisdom, depth, and meaning into their daily routines.
Hosted by New Acropolis Florida, our group explores timeless philosophical ideas—from East to West—and how they can help us live more consciously, harmoniously, and purposefully.
Each meetup includes:
• Short talks on practical philosophy
• Guided dialogues and reflections
• Tools for self-knowledge
• A welcoming space to connect with people who value inner growth and authentic living
No prior experience with philosophy is required—just curiosity and a sincere desire to grow.
Join us as we discover how ancient wisdom can illuminate modern life.
About New Acropolis:
New Acropolis is an international school of philosophy that promotes philosophy as a practical way of life.
Inspired by the timeless wisdom of both Eastern and Western civilizations, we study philosophical teachings that help us better understand ourselves, relate to others, face life’s challenges, and live with greater meaning and purpose.
Present in more than 60 countries, New Acropolis has developed a strong international tradition of promoting philosophy, culture, and volunteering through courses, lectures, cultural events, and community initiatives.
In the United States, we're a nonprofit organization, and our activities are made possible by the dedication of volunteers who believe philosophy can help build better individuals and, through them, a better society.
Our invitation is simple: discover philosophy not only as something to study, but as something to live.
