The Human Search for Happiness
with Yan Galli
What does it mean to live a happy life?
The search for happiness is as old as humanity itself. Yet, despite having more choices and possibilities than ever before, we may still wonder what truly makes a life fulfilling.
Throughout history, philosophers have explored happiness not simply as a pleasant feeling or a favorable circumstance, but as a way of living, connected to meaning, virtue, self-knowledge, and the choices we make.
Perhaps happiness has less to do with controlling everything that happens around us, and more with learning how to govern our own thoughts, attitudes, and responses.
Understanding what depends on us and what does not can be an important step toward living with greater freedom and inner stability.
In this talk, we will explore philosophical perspectives on happiness and reflect on what they can teach us about living with greater purpose, balance, and fulfillment.
