🎄 Join us for a festive evening of philosophy, fun, food, and good company! 🎄

If you’ve enjoyed the thought-provoking discussions and camaraderie of our philosophy events this year, don’t miss our special Christmas social! This event is all about celebrating the year, sharing ideas, and enjoying a quiz to spark your philosophical side.

What’s happening?

  • When & Where - A philosophical & festive get-together from 7.30 to 10.00pm on 17th December at Flo's in the Park in East Oxford. (Details below)
  • Food & Drink - Hot and cold food will be provided courtesy of the core team but we would also welcome contributions from members (see below), as we may be catering for up to 20 people! Flo's is not licensed so please bring your own bottle (BYOB) if you would like a tipple.
  • Quiz & Activities - A philosophy themed quiz and other activities will be laid-on either side of the food. Anyone for pin the beard on the philosopher?!
  • Cost: ÂŁ10 per person to cover venue hire and food. Pay what you can if you’re unable to afford the full amount. Any excess funds will go towards supporting our Meetup group subscription. Members will be able to pay via PayPal or by cash on the door. A link to the PayPal account will be sent to those who have signed up in advance of the event.

Food
Food will be provided on a bring and share basis. If you plan to bring some food let us know as soon as possible in the comments section below. We would appreciate home cooked savory dishes and deserts. There will be facilities to heat up food. Thanks in advance.
