Social Media, Knives and Education

Details

There is currently a serious outbreak of knife crime which means many
unfortunate youngsters are living in the grip of fear.

Meanwhile, misogyny also flourishes, making it difficult for young people to form healthy relationships.

In this talk, Ian Alston will suggest some remedies for this state of affairs, particularly the need to adapt education so that children can develop socially and morally, whilst rarely being bored.

*If weather is forecast to be wet or cold, talk will take place at Grantchester Village Hall, CB3
9NG; please check with johnedeval@hotmail.com on Friday June 13
