What we’re about
Writing can feel like a solitary sport, can't it?
Often it's just you and the voices in your head.
Until now.
Phoenix Oasis Press is here to help you as you walk the brave path of bringing your words and vision to life.
We aim to be an oasis of inspiration and support for Arizona's aspiring, established, and 'I'm-not-really-a-writer' writers.
We create and host low and no-cost resources to help Arizona writers generate work, build skills, share their stories, and connect with the vibrant writing community across the Valley.
Craft, creativity, connection, growth, and support.
We're so glad you've found us.
Does your romance series smell like beach-y waves and true love?
What does your MC smell like? Or your villain?
What scents most inspire you to get into your writing zone?
Join Phoenix Oasis Press and guest hosts author Ginger Scott and author Kacey Shea at Candle Chemistry in Scottsdale, Arizona to explore scent-ology!
Creating a candle that encapsulates your work can help you:
- Get inspired to write. Light it as part of your writing ritual!

- Generate revenue. Create a custom scent you can also sell at book festivals and market on your social.

Smells like inspiration and friendships
This event is best-suited for authors of all skill levels who want to hang out with other area writers, network, chat about your WIP, and have some fun.
That you get to hang out with two USA Today best-selling romance authors is just icing on the cake (which is also a scent you can add to your candle!)
What if I don't write romance?
This event is open to all genres! At our last event we watched authors bring to life candles that represented a gothic horror novel, a memoir about an air force pilot grandfather, and a sci-fi thriller about technology. Whatever your genre, we hope you'll join us!
