slow hiking allows for deeper appreciation of nature, better mental well-being, and potentially more enjoyable social experience. Slow hiking can also be less taxing on the body, particular for those with joint issues (Like me) or who are starting to hike.

Most of us are retired senior hikers but everyone (who prefer/or need to hike at a leisurely relaxed pace) is welcome to join.
We start hiking early, hiking 3.5 to 5 easy/moderate miles, at a slower comfortable pace and we stop often.
