This Thursday June 6th , join our photo guided tour of London's ancient legal quarter, a world away from the hustle & bustle of modern London, off the beaten track, resonating with the stunning architecture of Oxford & Cambridge but in London, a Middle Age Gem that provides us for a day of memorable photographic opportunities & hearing about the history of this amazing enclave, key to the development of the British Legal System the basis of many legal systems around the world.

We meet promptly outside Holborn Tube Station & immediately find ourselves walking through winding medieval alley ways & then to our surprise the expanse of the private Inns of Court - the working chambers of barristers & Judges as well as stunning Temple Church opened by the Crusaders in 1118 featured in The Da Vinci Code, a magnificent undercroft & church designed by Inigo Jones & one of the finest Elizabethan Halls in England where Elizabeth !st watched a Shakespeare play premier. This stunning backdrop provides a wonderful inspiration & challenge to developing photographic skills - composing creative architectural landscapes & understanding how to manage interiors with contrasting light & shade.

This tour is designed specifically for photographers - of all levels.
• An experienced photographer, teacher & guide .Whilst hearing anecdotes of Magna Carta, Great Kings & villains ...a thousand years of British History you will have assistance on hand from a professional photographer.

CREATIVE PHOTOGRAPHY - HELP & PRACTICING CREATIVE TECHNIQUES & TIMING : This is very different from a regular walking guided tour, it's specifically designed from a photographic perspective & slower pace required for creative composition.

Lenses - A variety of lens - wide angle+ Telescopic , prime lens will be helpful
Lots of Batteries !! ONE IS NOT ENOUGH !!
Dress smart casual - no trainers in The Hall with barristers & Judges
Additional Money for lunch in The Magnificent Tudor Hall - where Shakespeare first premiered Twelfth Night.- good choice of meat & vegetarian dishes on a buffet scheme

• Important to know
No photography during lunch in The Hall -
After lunch we will explore Temple Church of Da vinci Code Fame ( entrance £ 5 additionally ) and make our way to The Royal Courts of Justice & explore that part of The Strand .
