Partial Solar Eclipse (Anywhere with a clear view of the eastern horizon)

Details

On Saturday, March 29th, we will have an opportunity to see a partial solar eclipse. For the northern East Coast of North America, the eclipse will be visible at sunrise, so a seaside eastern-facing location will be ideal. Since the eclipse begins at 5:24:31 AM, the Sun will already be in mid-eclipse when it becomes visible on the horizon at 6:31:22 AM and will end at 7:07 AM. It will be a very cool sight! Get ready!

Always remember to use caution when viewing the Sun. Here is a list of solar filters, and there is also the link to the Photographing a Solar Eclipse Workshop recording from last year on that page. The workshop has full details on photographing the Sun and its awesome eclipses.
