Join us as we explore Downtown at night and make photographs together! After our photo-walk we'll get a table at Hadley's Bar + Kitchen (http://www.hadleysbar.com/menus/), talk about photography, and enjoy some food and drinks!
We will start our night by walking down along the river towards Bicentennial Park, enjoy the holiday light display, then walk up W. Rich St. to The Commons for some more beautiful holiday lights and architecture. Then we will head over to Hadley's and get some food and drinks to warm us up!
Itinerary:
6:00 - 8:00 Photo-walk downtown.
8:00 - 9:00 Food & drinks at Hadley's Bar + Kitchen (http://rishiskb.com/)
Meeting spot:
Meet me in the parking lot in front of the police station at 6:00p. Parking meters are available.
Weather:
Rain or shine - this event is still on!
Tips for success:
• You can forget your camera, just don't forget your GLOVES, HAT, AND WARM CLOTHING!
• Bring a tripod and use it
• Use remote trigger or set your camera to 10sec timer
• Use mirror lockup feature on camera
• Remove your UV filter
Creative Idea:
Look for areas that are lit by a single light source. Focus your composition on the elements being lit by the light, while still including areas outside of the lit scene. Study how the shadows surrounding the lit area influence the mood of the photograph.
