Landis Arboretum Star Party

"Come view the stars and planets in Landis' dark skies with members of the Albany Area Amateur Astronomers. A variety of telescopes will be set up for viewing the heavens, revealing nebulae, star clusters, galaxies, double stars, planets, and other celestial objects."

Star parties are cancelled if weather is bad. Please read the details involved in attending at Landis Arboretum Star Party. If we cancel I will attempt to reschedule.

Dress warmly as it will be a late in the evening event. Bring tripod, headlamp, cable release, and whatever camera equipment you choose. A wide angle lens is a good choice. This is a basic 5 minute tutorial on how to shoot the night sky Canon Quick Tips: Guide to Night Sky Photography.

We will meet in the parking lot of the Landis Arboretum at 10:00 pm
