Hello everyone!
Let's make this new group really ours? What about making here connections so we can get some quality time making more photos and enjoying more from the amazing opportunities Zürich and Switzerland offer us?
If you feel like it, let's connect on Instagram and on our Facebook Group.
Let's meet at least once a month and do some shooting. Maybe explore a technique, shoot an event or location, submit photos for critique and improvement, try shooting in a studio or just have fun during a photo walk. I'm all in for those, but what are YOUR suggestions? This is our group, let's make it the way we can enjoy it more.
I'd suggest English as the main language to keep this as international as Zürich, but there is nothing to stop us to create some language-specific topics and meetings. Who knows, we could mix language learning/practice and photography :D.

I am Cesar, a formally trained acting photographer based in Zürich. My goal here is to create a community in which we all can enjoy, learn, share experiences and knowledge, but most of all: have a fun place to photograph even more.
I am looking forward to the next meeting! Until then, have a great one!

Grüezi Galera!
After a long winter and even longer time off from my side, we're walking again! Let's get together and enjoy another delicious photo walk around our gorgeous Züri! This is a FREE event, but you may feel free to give an OPTIONAL contribution, keep the group rolling and allow me to bring more activities to us all. That can be done on the day, over Twint, PayPal or here.
We will explore many of the photo opportunities along the Schanzengraben, the moat system of medieval Zürich. Starting from the north side, we will slowly move towards Bürkliplatz and have a blast while experimenting with the Street Photography techniques and inspiration we have been studying together.
On our way, there are countless great opportunities for Street Photography, Architectural Photography, details, city life, abstract, minimalism, and so much more... Take your pick and pic!
For this Photo Walk, I would suggest that we exercise/experiment:
- Street photography
- Architectural photography
- CompositionIf you need some help with those ideas or techniques, drop me a message and let's do it together. Please write in advance as on the day of the event it might be difficult to organise something.
The free photowalks will not have models, these will be limited to the special photo walks to ensure a better shooting experience to photographers and models alike.
Meeting at 18:30 for "meet&greet", let's enjoy the meet side of this meetup **. The actual Photo Walk starts at 19:00.**
If the event is full and you don't want to wait for eventual cancellations, get in touch through meetup@chaya.photo, there are 5 spots reserved for patrons, and maybe there is one still available.
The location might need to be changed due to bad weather, check back to see if there are any changes. It will happen regardless of the rain!

As summer officially arrives, we'll explore the Viadukt's unique industrial architecture and soak in the amazing light from the setting sun. We'll uncover hidden gems around Im Viadukt, Löwenbrau, Frau Gerolds Garten, Schiffbau, and wherever the moment takes us, maybe even strolling towards the Hauptbahnhof along the Limmat. There are gorgeous views and photo opportunities everywhere you look!
Let's support the local businesses by grabbing a coffee or something to warm up at 18:30 for a "meet & greet". We'll chat a little and then kick off the actual photo walk at 19:00. Look for my tripod on the floor – that'll make it easy to spot us, even with all the camera bags around!
This photo walk will NOT have models. We're currently putting the final touches on our upcoming special photo walks that will feature models. These events will be truly exclusive and designed to offer a distinctly different and elevated experience for both photographers and models alike. We're aiming for a more focused and intimate shooting environment, allowing for deeper creative exploration and ensuring everyone gets the most out of these unique sessions. Keep an eye on your inbox, as the newsletter subscribers will get the first announcement before these highly anticipated events go public!

I'm incredibly excited to be back and organizing these photo walks again! I've truly missed our meetings and can't wait to see you at this upcoming photo walk. My goal is to provide even more content, engaging meetings, fantastic learning opportunities, and so much more in the future.
