For our 19th meetup the kind folks at Digipolis will host us.

The meetup itself will be on the 6th floor, we'll make sure we hang some signs to guide you to the right place.
The building has some parking spaces, but we cannot confirm at this time if you'll be able to use those spaces.

Speaker: Karel Dekyvere is the Chief (Information) Security Officer (CISO) at Microsoft Belgium & Luxemburg, focused on physical and information security. He has more than 27yrs of experience as a security expert, of which 17yrs at Microsoft. He was active for 7yrs at NATO, assisting in the strategic and mission environments. Karel was initially an ethical hacker and is still passioned by privacy en security. He has no problem stating the things how they really are, regardless his role at Microsoft. Karel is co-author of the Belgian Cybersecurity guide, de Security cookbook for small medium businesses en writes opinion columns for various professional journals.

The GDPR is coming in May 2018 and now is the time to get started preparing for it. In this talk I describe a roadmap that everyone should define for their own situation and the steps that are required to become GDPR compliant. This is not legal advice, just best practices to get ready for the General Data Protection Regulation.
Speaker: Michelangelo van Dam works at in2it (http://in2.se/1Ku2TUm) as a professional PHP consultant assisting businesses to automate their development processes, improve their code quality and train their development teams. Michelangelo is also president of the PHP user group PHPBenelux (http://in2.se/1Ku2ZLO) where he and a team organizes monthly meetups, development events and an annual conference. He's a devoted member of the global PHP community and contributes to open-source projects, mainly PHP related.
