Camelback Mountain --> Cholla Trail + Camelback Santa!

Join us on an early morning hike up the Cholla Trail to the top of Camelback Mountain. I want to meet Camelback Santa, so I'm going early to hike to the top of Camelback.

Since 2013, when the annual tradition started, Cressey has used his holiday cheer for good; he fundraises for St. Mary's Food Bank, to ensure no one goes hungry during the holiday season.

This is a difficult and challenging hike. Consider your fitness level before signing up.

Elevation gain: 1,279 ft

Parking is along Invergorden. Allow extra time to park and walk to the trailhead. Show up early to give yourself time to get ready. We will meet near the restrooms.

• Bring enough water for the entire hike, at least 2 liters of water

However, you must take responsibility for yourself by researching the hike/destination in advance and determining in advance if your body is up for the challenge; arriving on time; being prepared with adequate clothing for the conditions; wearing proper footwear; and most importantly, knowing and adhering to your own physical limitations.
