Full Moon - Pima Canyon easy evening hike
Details
Join our friendly Phoenix area group on a casual hike up the National Trail from the Pima Canyon Trailhead to the petroglyphs to see the Flower Moon. The moonrise should be around 7:30pm
Bring a headlamp or flashlight for the return trip. It will be dark out and there are usually bike riders on the National Trail so you want to be visible.
Wear sturdy shoes and bring 2 liters of water. The sun will be setting, but it will still be hot out.
Distance: about 3 miles
Elevation: 300'
Rating: Easy
This will be an easy hike and an easy pace so we have time to take in the moonrise.
