Hole in the Rock for Star Wars Day!
Details
Happy Star Wars Day! May the 4th be with you as we enjoy a fun and easy sunset hike around Papago Park to the Hole in the Rock, where we can watch the twin suns set.
*Star Wars costumes or lightsabers not needed, but feel free to wear your geeky stuff to celebrate if you're so inclined.
Bring 1 liter of water or blue milk for this short 0.3 mile hike.
We will meet by the 3 ramadas at the south trailhead, which is right in front of the Hole in the Rock formation. Park your speeder bikes or landspeeder nearby.
There are several other short trails and ponds we will walk around as well this evening, but we will skip Mos Eisley, that wretched hive of scum and villainy. Before heading to the hole in the rock, we will hike up to Hunt's tomb, the pyramid on top of a nearby hill.
