Watch SpaceX launch from South Mountain

***SpaceX updated the planned liftoff time to 7:57pm this morning. Meetup time has been changed to 6:40pm**

Join us for a hike up the National Trail at South Mountain to watch SpaceX launch a rocket.

Meet at the Pima Canyon trailhead and hike 2 miles up the National Trail to a decent viewpoint.

Planned Liftoff: 7:57pm (originally 7:00pm)
*When I watched the last launch from South Mountain, the liftoff time was adjusted from 8:19pm to 8:30pm. Be prepared to stay a little longer if the launch is delayed.

Bring 2 liters of water and wear sturdy shoes.

Bring a headlamp or flashlight for the return trip. It will be dark out and there are usually bike riders on the National Trail so you want to be visible to them
