We will be working with the professional folks at the new Arizona Dive Center, (fka Scuba Professionals of Arizona), and their experienced dive master instructors to complete your Open Water Scuba Diving Training & Certification.

This Open Water scuba diving training will start on Saturday, June 13th, which will begin with eLearning/classroom, snorkeling skills review, followed by pool skills and certification at Lake Pleasant to finish the course by Sunday, June 28th.
The Open Water scuba training & certification course is divided into 3 main parts. The class schedule is as follows:
Course Review Session: Sat, Jun 13, 2026 at 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
Snorkeling Skills #1: Fri, Jun 19, 2026 at 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm
Pool Skills #2: Sat, Jun 20, 2026 at 8:00 am to 12:00 pm
Pool Skills #3 & #4: Fri, Jun 26, 2026 at 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm
Certification Dives #1 & #2: Sat, Jun 27, 2026 at 7:00 am to 11:00 am
Certification Dives #3 & #4: Sun, Jun 28, 2026 at 7:00 am to 11:00 amThe cost of the Open Water Scuba Diving Training & Certification course is $499 which includes all eLearning & training materials, instruction, pool dives, open water dives, certification at Lake Pleasant, plus your digital certification card.

*3 MM Wet Suit or 1 MM Skin Suit

*GlovesAll personal gear items need to be purchased separately. It is recommended but not required to wear a 1 mm skin suit or a 3mm wet suit for the lake certification. These items are available to purchase at the Arizona Dive Center, or you can also purchase them on Amazon. However, I highly recommend purchasing your personal gear at the dive shop, so you know you are getting quality equipment. Plus, they can help make sure everything is fitted to you properly too.

SCUBA DIVING SKILLS UPDATE TRAINING COURSE-JUNE

If you are already a licensed scuba diver but haven’t been scuba diving for a while, maybe over a year, and you’d like to get back in the water diving again, then a scuba skills update course is just what you need before taking that next scuba diving adventure!
We will be working with the professional folks at the new Arizona Dive Center, (fka Scuba Professionals of Arizona), and their experienced dive master instructors for this Scuba Skills Update Training course.

The Scuba Skills Update training is a short course beginning on Friday, June 19th, with a classroom review, followed by a pool session to review the basic scuba skills on Saturday, June 20th.
The cost of the Scuba Skills Update training course is $175 which includes eLearning & training materials, classroom instruction, rental gear and your pool dives.

“The Revillagigedo Islands more familiarly called the Socorro Islands are also known as “Mexico’s Galapagos”. Located out in the Pacific approximately 250 miles from Cabo San Lucas and the Baja California peninsula, the Socorro Islands are a group of four small volcanic islands: Roca Partida, Socorro/Santo Tomas, San Benedicto, and Santa Rosa and are an UNESCO World Heritage site with its own unique and diverse ecosystem and endemic species not found anywhere else. For scuba divers, the Socorro Islands are a magnet for attracting many of the ocean’s largest pelagic animals including many species of sharks, such as Hammerheads, Tigers, White Tips, Galapagos, also giant Manta Rays, Whale Sharks, plus schools of Humpback Whales, Dolphins, Tuna, Barracuda, Jacks, and many more, truly offering divers a spectacular once in a lifetime bucket list adventure that’s only accessible by liveaboard! CITIZEN SCIENCE EXPEDITION:
On this adventure we have the exciting and special opportunity to be aboard a Citizen Science Expedition to research and study Whale Sharks and Manta Rays, and participate in marine conservation with activities such as animal/fish counts, tagging, photo identification, helping to collect data in order to learn more about these amazing creatures along with daily presentations on Whale Shark and Manta Ray conservation with marine biologist and Executive Director from Whale Shark Mexico, Beto Garcia!On this Citizen Science Liveaboard Expedition you will enjoy 6-7 presentations with topics to include:
- Biology and ecology of whale sharks
- Conservation Biology of the whale shark
- Conservation biology of manta rays
- I3S software for whale shark and giant manta ray photo identification
Citizen Science activities include:
- Whale shark and manta ray photo-identification
- Zooplankton sampling and looking at samples under a microscope
- Measuring sharks and bony fish using a stereo-video system to estimate their length and determine the length-frequency distribution of the most common species.WHALE SHARK & MANTA RAY CITIZEN SCIENCE EXPEDITION & LIVEABOARD ADVENTURE:
This all-inclusive Whale Shark & Manta Ray Citizen Science Dive Expedition Liveaboard Adventure includes the following:
-10 days and 9 nights aboard the Quino Del Mar Liveaboard (double occupancy)

However, we have a special discount group rate, and the total cost for this all-inclusive 10-day/9-night Citizen Science Dive Expedition Liveaboard Adventure is only $4080 per person double diver. A $200 deposit is required upfront to confirm your reservation. The balance is due in full by 90 days prior to departure. You will receive a confirmation email of your reservation as well as any required forms for you to sign & return.***PLEASE NOTE***This special event is open to certified scuba divers only***
***PLEASE NOTE***It is highly advised that all divers be current and have had prior deep diving experience (recommended 50 dives logged) prior to this trip***
