The WellTH Total Health Physical Therapy Aide consists of four parts over the course of six weeks a will provide participants with the skills and knowledge to start a career as a Physical Therapy Aide.
This four part program will teach participants how to assist patients with a variety of injuries under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Physical Therapy Aides also have the responsibilities for completing non-technical duties such as preparing treatment areas, ordering devices and supplies, and transporting patients under the direction of the physical therapist.
Physical Therapy Aides may be employed in physical therapy clinics, hospitals, nursing care facilities, sports rehabilitation centers, and other healthcare facilities. Students must pass both the written and hands-on portions of the workshop in order to receive their Physical Therapy Aide certificate.
Your instructor is a Lead PT Aide and holds a background in Kinesiology and Exercise Science.
