Brookfield Zoo - Tigers and bears and skiers, oh my!

Meet us at Brookfield Zoo at 10:30 am, North Gate. Admission is FREE (regularly $21-$30), but you do have to pay for parking ($15/car) and any special attractions. Sign up on Meet Up and find someone to car pool with. Bring friends and family too!
Park in the main lot off 31st Street and meet up just inside the north gate. Bring your own snacks and beverages, whatever you want to carry. There should be at least one restaurant open, but the zoo website seemed rather vague on this.
Indoor habitats like Tropic World, Australia House and The Living Coast will be open as well as outdoor areas for cold-loving animals like polar bears, tigers and skiers. The dolphin show will perform at 11:30am but requires a separate ticket of $4 for children under 12, $6 for seniors 65+ and $8 for adults. Please note that the motor safari, carousel, and butterfly exhibits will be closed. The Zoo is open 10am-4pm, so go early and stay late if you want, but meet us at 10:30am at the North Gate.
