This Mixer is for anyone from beginners to advanced players. Everyone will be sorted by skill level, and beginners will be on their own courts as well.

There are 64 spots available in this event.

We will take 8 beginners. We will have an instructor teach you to play pickleball. We have extra paddles so beginners do not need their own equipment. We will also play some pickleball games once you learn how to play.

Everyone except beginners MUST have an official DUPR skill rating or an official skill assessment and their own paddle. *NEED AN OFFICIAL RATING? Click here.

Length of play: 6:15 to 9:15 (6:15 announcements and court assignments)

No companion coming with you? No problem! Many people show up by themselves! We will put you on a court with 3 other people.

When you pay for the event, you will state your *official* skill level (DUPR or USAPA). We will put players with similar skills on a court. Then play begins on those assigned courts.

Event will be in a "ladder" format: Four players play 3 games to 11 win by 1. At the end of each game, every player switches partners until everyone on the court has played one game with each of the other players as a partner. This takes approximately 30 minutes.

At the end of 30 minutes, the highest combined point winner across those 3 games goes to the next highest court. The lowest combined point winner goes to the next lowest court. Two players stay on their current court.

This way in each round you play with two new players and MIX it UP!

YOU WILL ROTATE COURTS 4 or 5 times so please come with that in mind. **Do not expect to play with your buddy/companion.**

NOTE: While it is normal that all 64 spots are reserved, we cannot guarantee that all players show up. -- we may have 63 instead of 64.

Consequently, there is a chance a court won't have 4 people. In this case a player(s) can either rotate in at the start of the next game or a player(s) can play in the room with a pickleball machine until a court has played all 3 games. Then the player(s) can participate in the next round.

There is NO scheduled downtime during the event so be prepared to play the entire time! :) You MUST bring your own paddle. We will supply the balls.
