How do you make friends or meet someone special in your 30s and 40s? It’s not like you can just go up to people like you did in the playground and say, "Do you want to be my friend?"
Pier Connections solves that problem. We are Brighton and Hove's premier social group, specifically designed for individuals in their 30s and 40s looking to build community and find romance.
Inspired by the resilient spirit and iconic beauty of the West Pier, our focus is on making real, meaningful connections in a fun, relaxed, and safe environment.
We host a variety of structured and social events:

Singles Events: From themed speed dating and cocktail-making workshops to our signature "Line dancing Traffic Light Parties" and "Secret Santa Dating" holiday parties, these are crafted specifically for single members looking for genuine interaction.

Open Socials: We also run regular social events (like pub quizzes, bar crawls, and group outings) that are open to everyone—singles, couples, and friends—because finding your community is just as important as finding romance.

Come along and join us for a singles mixer night for those aged 30-45 (± a couple of years is ok), with a Lock and Key ice breaker and a chance to win some prizes.
How it works:
Once everyone has arrived the ladies are issued with a padlock and guys get keys, you then have to find which key unlocks which padlock, when you get a match you get a ticket to the raffle and a new padlock and key to go again and find more matched. Keys and Lock are given at random, just because they match we don't guarantee you're a match, equally just because the key doesn't open a lock doesn't mean you shouldn't chat more.Later in the night we'll draw a raffle for some prizes then continue the night with just a general mixer, afterwards you will be able to say if there is anyone you would like to pass details onto.
