Have metal parts that need a strong durable coating? Powder coating is the way!
This is a certification workshop required of members before you can use the powder coating area.
In this class, we will be covering
*How to use the sandblaster
*how to properly prep parts for powder coating
*How to powder coat parts
*Different coating techniques from beginner to advanced

  • covering the different kinds of powder and their uses
    *Using the ovens and how to properly bake parts

Max part size to powder coat is 36"x45"x91"
Cost:
$20 PPM-Members/ not available to non members at this time

Please Note!
(1) Liability Wavier Notice: Before taking this class, all attendees must have signed our liability waiver when beginning their automatic payments. If you have not, please let us know or visit https://pikespeakmakerspace.org/become-a-member and take care of this.
(2) Attendance Policy: If you are unable to make this class, please contact us on slack as soon as possible. If you do not show up and have not communicated to us that you will not be able to attend, the class cost is not refundable.
If you are more than 10 minutes late, it will be considered a no show. You will need to reschedule and the missed class will not be refunded.
This policy respects the time and effort instructors take to be available for classes and the missed opportunity for other members. We thank you for your understanding.
