Roland TruVis Industrial Printer Private Instruction (individuals)

Details

This private session is open to public and Pikes Peak Makerspace members (members get a discount). Members: This can serve as the certification class needed to make use of the Roland TrueVIS printer. This is a separate class from the printer suite class due to the expensive nature of equipment and materials.

Learn how to create professional-quality stickers and labels in this hands-on class! Whether you’re making die-cut, round, or square designs, this session will teach you how to properly load vinyl into the machine, set up your artwork, and use the necessary software for production.

The instructor will guide you through CorelDRAW as an example to create and adjust cut lines and VersaWorks (required to print) to operate the machine. While you can design your artwork in other programs, you’ll need to import it into CorelDRAW for final adjustments (or make sure cuts do not have sharp corners) before printing.

This class is designed for all experience levels and typically lasts 45 minutes to an hour. To get the most out of your session, it’s highly recommended to bring a thumb drive with an image you’d like to turn into a sticker or label so you can produce a real, finished product during the class.

This small, interactive session offers direct, hands-on experience. The instructor will personally guide you through each step, from loading vinyl to setting up designs and printing. With one-on-one attention, you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions in real time and get personalized instruction tailored to your pace. This option is ideal for those who want an in-depth learning experience with full participation.

The instructor will be available to answer questions throughout the class, ensuring you understand each stage of the process. This option is great for those who prefer to learn by watching and taking notes before trying the process on their own.

Whether you’re looking for a fully immersive experience or just want to learn the basics, this class will provide the knowledge and skills needed to start making your own stickers and labels!
