What we’re about

This group is for everyone in the Colorado Springs area who wants to continue the work of transformation begun by Bernie Sanders in his bid for the Presidential nomination. We are actively engaged in local progressive activism.

Our group currently focuses on three types of activities:

* Support and volunteerism for progressive candidates for Pikes Peak area political offices

* Local activism on issues of importance to to progressives, including human and environmental justice

* Movie nights and/or informational nights on issues of importance to progressives

Freethinkers Gathering – Food, Friendship, and Conversation When: Saturday, Oct 11, 5 pm to 8 ish
Where: Chinook Center, 2551 Airport Road, Suite 107 (behind the front-facing businesses)
Join 20–40 fellow Freethinkers for a couple of hours of good food and great conversation. Whether you’ve been meeting with the group since 1995 or are joining for the first time, everyone is welcome!
What to bring: Bring a dish or drink to share — anything from casseroles, soups, salads, or sandwiches to pizza, chicken fingers, beer, wine, juice, or soft drinks. Oh, and bring your SMILE and warm conversational style.
