This class, led by a certified Forest Therapy Guide, offers a guided sensory experience at the Earl Burns Miller Japanese Garden. Inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-yoku, forest bathing means taking in nature through our senses. These slow and mindful walks offer an immersive sensory experience to explore our unique relationship with the earth. Join us to deepen your connection with yourself and the natural world. Forest bathing aims to reduce stress, improve well-being, and foster a reciprocal relationship with the more-than-human-world. We end our time together sharing tea and snacks. Bring a blanket or a towel. Please arrive 10 minutes before class to park and settle in before the walk.
