Engineering Meetup: Side Projects - Fun or Business?
Details
The summer is mostly over and people are back from holidays full of energy. While rest is crucial, as it turns out, many people like to be productive even in their free time and end up working on all kinds of side projects.
There are many reasons to work on a side project - it can be helping a certain community around you, it's a great learning opportunity, it can simply be a lot of fun, and sometimes, it can even bring some extra income on a side.
This time, we'd like to focus on that - why do people work on side projects, and can they be turned into a business?

Speakers:

From School Project to the Biggest Mind Game Website in Estonia by Marten Meikop, Director of Engineering Platform at Pipedrive.
