Non-melanoma skin cancer incidence exceeds all other cancers combined, with more than 5 million lesions treated annually in the U.S. Today, most patients undergo surgery, an invasive procedure that can result in pain, scarring, and recovery time.
OncoPatch provides a non-surgical alternative using patches that contain the beta-emitting isotope yttrium-90, delivering targeted radiotherapy directly to the lesion. The treatment can be completed in as little as one 30-minute session in a dermatologist’s office. The result is effective cancer treatment with reduced invasiveness and improved patient experience.
