Experience the beauty of the Allegheny River and the camaraderie of dragon boating.
You can join the Steel City Dragons based at the Fox Chapel Yacht Club for a session paddling a traditional Chinese dragon boat past the wooded hills and islands between Aspinwall and Oakmont.
Participants in Thursday sessions can gather afterwards for drinks and snacks at the Baja Bar and Grill overlooking the river. Saturday sessions gather for a light brunch at a nearby restaurant.
Meet other outdoor enthusiasts and learn about programs supporting participants with a current or past cancer diagnosis.
