See the unseen Allegheny River from a dragon boat

Enjoy a one-hour session exploring the Allegheny River between Aspinwall and Oakmont in a traditional Chinese dragon boat!

Space is limited, so reserve a spot online.

What will happen:

• Arrive and check in inside our team room
• Get a quick introduction to dragon boating and safety. You'll receive a paddle and life jacket.
• Head out to the dock and get into one of our dragon boats with other paddlers.
• Paddle into the river to see the fascinating natural and historical sites that are only visible from the water while learning how to paddle in synch as part of a crew of 20.
• Return to the Steel City Dragons meeting room and get ALL your questions answered
• Optionally: After the session, join the group for drinks and snacks at the Baja Bar and Grill in the same Fox Chapel Yacht Club complex

What to bring:

• Bottle of water or hydration drink of your choice
• Comfortable clothes and shoes or sandals that you don't mind getting splashed.
• Completed form and waiver to save check-in time.
