Concerts in the Courtyard: Red Beans & Rice Combo BAND, FREE! Mt. Lebanon

August 24: Red Beans & Rice Combo. A very cool mix of classic New Orleans R&B, 50’s rock ala Jerry Lee Lewis and Chuck Berry, Mose Allison, Tom Waits, Slim Galliard and Louis Jordan—SUPER FUN TUNES! The Combo features the world celebrated early jazz stride pianist, Tom Roberts (a Foxburg regular) on piano, whistling, & vocals, along with Dave Klug on drums and his custom-built “Kluger Soundboard,” and Wayno on vocals, harmonica, & ukulele. August 31: Mt. Lebanon High String Quartet under the direction of orchestra director Robert Vogel, wraps up the series with light classics, Broadway hits, and classic popular songs—the perfect entertainment for a warm summer evening.
