ADVICE:
- GET THERE BEFORE 9AM it gets crowded fast!!!
- Have Blankets and a change of shorts, t shirts and socks
- There are safety personnel there.
- You'll have to set your stuff down leave valuables in your car.
- Drag someone else down there even if they aren't jumping then they can be towel/blanket camera holders and someone needs to laugh at us.
- Channel 4 news is a sponsor of this so you have a chance of being on the news.
I'll be there by 9AM and we start to gather along the shore line look for Orange Bike Flag!
At 9:25 or so, we start getting our "beach wear" exposed and at 9:30 a whistle blows and folks start piling in!
There's typically a rope and volunteers on the rivers edge to help folks in and out of the water and crazy as this sounds, it's all done with some safety in mind.
