ADVICE:

  1. GET THERE BEFORE 9AM it gets crowded fast!!!
  2. Have Blankets and a change of shorts, t shirts and socks
  3. There are safety personnel there.
  4. You'll have to set your stuff down leave valuables in your car.
  5. Drag someone else down there even if they aren't jumping then they can be towel/blanket camera holders and someone needs to laugh at us.
  6. Channel 4 news is a sponsor of this so you have a chance of being on the news.

I'll be there by 8:30 AM and we start to gather along the shore line look for Orange Bike Flag!
At 8:55 or so, we start getting our "beach wear" exposed and at 9am a whistle blows and folks start piling in!
There's typically a rope and volunteers on the rivers edge to help folks in and out of the water and crazy as this sounds, it's all done with some safety in mind.
