What In The World Is Going On?

Many people describe reported current news events as "disturbing", "tumultuous", or even "crazy" . This continuing discussion group will look at accuracy in the news media reporting, beginning with historical events, but supplemented with more recent independent research and FOIA requests for those same historical events.

Participants will examine charges of "Fake News" by some, and censorship of alternative news by major corporations controlling the flow of information and the dissemination of "news".

What are the media responsibilities that go along with freedom of the press? Are mainstream and independent news media exempted from these responsibilities by labeling their broadcasts "entertainment"? What role did the framers of the Constitution see for the "Free Press"?

Due to the potentially disturbing nature of this discussion, participants have (in early sessions) been first guided through historical events (before most were born) as they are now unemotional and seemingly unattached to current events. In future meetings (if sufficient interest is generated), more recent, emotionally charged events will be covered. In final sessions, participants will be afforded the opportunity to examine the most emotionally charged current events.

Participants will be introduced to the term "False Flag Operation", and its usage. This is where governments launch attacks on themselves and then blame others. The discussion leader has attended live presentations by Richard Dolan on this topic, and will play excerpts from Dolan's presentations on Gaia, an independent TV production company.

This discussion is purposefully NOT political in nature, as research will be presented showing anomalies in news reporting has occurred throughout nearly all U.S. government administrations. As a group we will discuss how to find accurate reporting by honest investigate journalists. Ultimately, participants need to question "what reporting is accurate today?"

Several sources and methods of Truth discernment will be offered. These have been gleaned from sources (respected by the presenter) that offer ways to find strands of truth in a haystack containing lies and misinformation.

Attendees will be prodded to ready themselves to receive new information that may contradict long-held beliefs.

As part of the group discussion, participants are encouraged to do their own research and use their own truth discernment, and share those findings at the appropriate time in group discussions.

In closing, and on a positive note, only an informed citizenry can effectively engage in our responsibilities required for self-governance. These discussions should prove to be enlightening for most attendees and make us more aware of actual events.
