FREE CONCERT: Re|Ignite Duo at The Homewood Cemetery for Make Music Day!

The Homewood Cemetery is celebrating International Make Music Day on Friday, June 21, with a free performance by local artists, Re|Ignite Duo!

Re|Ignite Duo is a chamber duo focused on reviving hidden gems in the flute and piano repertoire. Performing works that are unjustly forgotten or rarely heard, Re|Ignite Duo create a "rekindling" program threaded together by composers new and old. Re|Ignite Duo consist of flutist Brittany Trotter and pianist Dr. Helga Scheibert.

Make Music Day is a free celebration of music around the world on June 21st. Launched in 1982 in France as the Fête de la Musique, it is now held on the same day in more than 1,000 cities in 120 countries. This will be The Homewood Cemetery's second year serving as a Make Music Day venue.
