Help Build A Garden
In The Hill District at 678 Somers St. Pittsburgh, PA 15219

The Peace and Friendship Garden Build will help neighbors grow food and eat healthy. There is no-cost to participate in this garden activity which will increase access to healthy food, increase physical activity, and encourage healthy eating. Site will accommodate wheelchairs and pollinator flower beds. Donations are welcome.

> AUGUST 3 & 4

--> July 23 to 31 Grade site, Weeds, Etc.
--> August 3 & 4 Build Beds, Fence, Etc.
--> September 14 Garden Tour / BBQ
--> October 3 Recognition Dinner

Please bring: Water bottle and dress for outdoor work (sturdy shoes and long pants recommended) and gloves if you have them. We will partially provide some tools, snacks, water, and instruction.
