Tattoos & Tattooing: A History of the Process and Tools

Join us for an evening discussing the process, tools, and methodology behind the art of tattooing from its origins to today. Shannon Daley, a local tattooist with over 20 years experience will present on this fascinating artform.

Pittsburgh based tattoo artist of 23 plus years and a graduate of Syracuse University, Shannon is versed in many styles of tattooing. She excels in particular with flora, fauna, and black and gray portraiture. Shannon has traveled the world and tattooed at conventions all over the East Coast. Currently working at a private studio in the Allentown area of Pittsburgh and doing a guest spot in Bryson City, North Carolina, she has worked at the busiest of street shops and owned a tattoo shop. She has years of experience, knowledge, and stories to share.
