PITTSBURGH — The City of Pittsburgh has announced the schedule for this year’s farmers markets.
Pittsburghers can head to four different farmers markets to get their fresh-picked fruits and vegetables this summer.
All of the markets have fruits, vegetables, meats, cheese and baked goods. Several locations also sell flowers, gifts and hot prepared foods to go.
Normal hours begin the following Sunday, May 21, and run through mid-November.
Here is the schedule for each location this year:
Sundays in Squirrel HIll from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Beacon/Bartlett parking lot from May 14 through Nov. 19
Mondays in the East End from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Liberty Green Park on Larimer Avenue from May 22 to Nov. 20
Wednesdays in Carrick from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Carrick Dairy District at 1529 Brownsville Road from May 24 to Nov. 15
Fridays on the North Side from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Allegheny Commons Park at East Ohio Street & Cedar Avenue from May 26 to Nov. 17
