Working from home has a lot of benefits, but it can also feel isolating. Pittsburgh Coworking Friends is a welcoming community for remote workers, freelancers, students, researchers, job seekers, and anyone looking for a friendly place to work alongside others.
We meet at coffee shops, libraries, coworking spaces, and other public venues around Pittsburgh to get work done, meet new people, and make remote work a little less lonely.

Tuesday, September 22 | 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Bring your laptop and join us for a relaxed coworking session — we’ll share a space to work remotely together and get to know each other along the way.
Schedule:
- 11:00-11:30 | Quick round of introductions — tell us a bit about yourself and what you are working on.
- 11:30-12:30 | Focused work time
- 12:30-1:00 | Lunch break — bring your own food, or head out together with the group
- 1:00-3:00 | More work time
- 3:00 onward | Room needs to be returned — if you want to keep going, we can move to the library’s open seating area
You don’t have to stay all through all the hours. You can stop anytime and stay whatever you’d like!

- Per library rules, food isn’t allowed in the room — if you want to eat, best to step outside or grab something nearby

Note on Waitlist: Due to Meetup limits, RSVPs are capped at 10, but our room physically fits 20 (plus extra open library seating). If you’re on the waitlist, please feel free to join us anyway—there will be plenty of room!
