Refresh, Recharge, and Exchange Energy! Two events in one! Come for one or enjoy both!
We kick things off with Tai Chi Fundamentals® . Tai Chi, a form of qigong, integrates mind, body, and spirit in harmony with the world. This gentle, low-impact practice builds strength without stressing the joints, cultivating balance and inner peace rather than brute force. Combining body mechanics with energy awareness, Tai Chi uses breath, hand focus, qi sensing, and Wu Ji to boost vitality or restore calm.
Taught by Marilyn Carpenter, this session will be tailored to the participants to provide a few basic moves progressing from simple moves for practicing almost anytime during the day, even if just for a few minutes.
1pm-2pm - Refresh and Recharge with Tai Chi Fundamentals® Movement.
Flowing like water, tai chi harmonizes mind & body, weaving tranquility & strength into every gentle movement. Experience it for yourself! Reap the benefit of cultivating energy with others, using gentle movements.
Improving balance and strength is beneficial to those new to Tai Chi and those refining their practice by focusing on basic movements.
2pm-3pm: Holistic Energy Exchange Share - Now we have this beautiful energy flowing, let's share it! We will begin with an opening circle, with prayer and positive intention for ourselves, our community, our nation, our world. Then, we will break into pairs and give, receive, or share information and demos of Healing modalities, based on interest, and experience. There will be a closing circle to express gratitude for all that was received, share insights, feedback.
Open to Tai Chi attendees, Reiki and healing practitioners, and all with curiosity and an open heart. All are welcome!
NOTE: Class will take place in The Loft Space located above Three Little Birds Cafe & Juice Bar, 3940 Middle Rd Suite A Allison Park, PA 15101
THIS EVENT WILL NOT BE BROADCAST LIVE OR RECORDED
