What we're about

We get together in groups ranging from 10-30 people about twice a month for informal conversation in Spanish. Locations are restaurants and cafes in and around Pittsburgh. We're a welcoming community for Spanish-speaking natives who are new to the city, Pittsburgh natives just beginning to study Spanish, and everyone in between.

¡Nos vemos!

Spanish Conversation Practice at Carnegie Library, Lawrenceville

Carnegie Library Lawrenceville

Saludos a todos! Ivan will lead small conversation groups at the Lawrenceville Branch of the Carnegie Library. All skill levels of Spanish are welcome. Think of it as a regular meetup but with some native speakers to provide guided practice for those interested! Because of the high demand for a Spanish conversation group, we will be checking the RSVP list for no-shows. Three no-shows (your RSVP is "Yes" but you don't show up) can lead to suspension from the group. PARKING: Next door at the Stephen Foster Community Center. Parking is FREE. Entrance is on Fisk Street, next to the library. Library patrons are permitted to use this lot. Parking on Fisk Street is 1 hr only without permit, thus is NOT advised. There is non-permit parking close to Penn Ave and on Penn Ave itself. Please check the signs to be sure you're in a non-permit area. ¡Nos vemos alla!

**Beginner** Spanish Practice + Games at Carnegie Library, West End

Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh - West End

** Note change in location and time ** Mike will lead a beginner Spanish practice group at the West End branch of the Carnegie Library. In addition to our usual focus on phrases and drills, we're going to work on building fluency by playing games! NOTE: The purpose of the meetup is to build fluency through practice, so some familiarity with Spanish is recommended. Because space is limited, we will be checking the RSVP list for no-shows. To cover the cost of the Meetup site, we ask that members donate $1 each month for the library meetups. Contributions are *voluntary*. Thanks for your support. PARKING: The library has a very small lot with free parking. There is metered and unmetered parking on surrounding streets. Neptune St. should have plenty of unrestricted spots. ¡Nos vemos alla!

Drinks and Conversation, Ace Hotel -- ALL Levels of Spanish

Ace Hotel Pittsburgh

ALL members, regardless of speaking level, are invited for drinks and conversation at the hip Ace Hotel in East Liberty. This is a good opportunity to meet other group members and share your experiences with Spanish and Latin American culture. Shy about speaking Spanish? No hay problema. We're a friendly group, used to accommodating beginners and those whose Spanish is rusty. We can introduce you to those of similar ability. We will try to get some board games in Spanish. If you have any, please bring them! Bar food is available. Here's the bar (food and drink) menu: http://assets.acehotel.com/images/dining/PGH-Whitfield-Bar_Menu-Latest.pdf PARKING: Street parking is free after 6 PM. Nos vemos alla!

**Beginner** Spanish Practice + Games at Carnegie Library, Carrick

Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh - Carrick

** Note change in location** Mike will lead a beginner Spanish practice group at the newly renovated Carrick branch of the Carnegie Library. PARKING: There is metered and unmetered parking on Brownsville Road. Spaces right in front of the library are *unmetered*.
