We get together in groups ranging from 10-30 people about twice a month for informal conversation in Spanish. Locations are restaurants and cafes in and around Pittsburgh. We're a welcoming community for Spanish-speaking natives who are new to the city, Pittsburgh natives just beginning to study Spanish, and everyone in between.

You're invited to join me on Sat., July 19, 2025 for a SALSA NIGHT FUNDRAISER featuring hot Latin dance music by DJ MARLON SILVA!
I'm raising money to help my friend, Jordan, who is recovering after having his left BIG TOE AMPUTATED a few weeks ago. Complications from diabetes caused a cut on his toe to become infected, causing Jordan to become septic—and he almost died!
Jordan is a waiter, but he's currently unable to work for at least another month or two while his foot heals. He is broke and needs some help paying bills. Like many hard-working people, he was living paycheck-to-paycheck prior to this health crisis, and he has no savings.

We'll take a easy-paced walk as we converse in Spanish, starting at the entrance of the Bridle Trail near the intersection of Overlook Drive and Greenfield Rd. The plan is to:
- Head along the Bridle Trail
- Turn off on the Trail Connector at the Public Works Storage Area, heading toward Panther Hollow Lake
- Take the steps down to Panther Hollow Lake if folks are up for it; if not, then take a break
- Head back via Upper Panther Hollow Trail
This loop should take about 1 to 1 1/2 hours depending on our pace. Here is a trail map:
