About us
This is a group dedicated to all things pizza, from its history, to cooking, to sampling some of the best pies in the local area and beyond. It is also a support group for those with a compulsion towards the greatest food ever tossed. Discussion of fast food and frozen pizza is allowed but not necessarily eaten. No, we are focused on pizza as art with the motto that if tastes good, it is good. An overriding obsession is to find a really good New York style pizza in the DC area while sampling all pizzas styles from Naples to New Haven.

The famous Giordano’s of Chicago brought its deep dish pizza to 14th ST in DC. It’s around the corner from The Hamilton which is having free jazz on Sept 2, 2026 at 8 pm to kick off DC Jazz fest.
When I think Chicago, I think Bick Biderbech and other great jazz legends from the Midwest.
See you at 6:30 to eat, drink and be jazzy.
No doubt metro,is your best bet since very close to the White House. Metro Center is the closest stop to 14th and G St, NW.
